- More than 25 years of working experience (local GAAP/IFRS/US GAAP) in the development, coordination, and management of controlling-/accounting-/shareholding structures for international listed companies, as well as for medium-sized companies in Germany/Europe
- Controlling/accounting/consolidation experience in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Romania
- More than 20 years of experience with audits in the Big 4 environment (HGB/US-GAAP/ IFRS)
- annual financial statements with notes and management reports as well as tax audits
- More than 20 years of responsibility for staff (1 to 16 direct reports)
- Spin-off experience (Bristol Myers — Convatec)
- Merger/integration experience (Aon Corporation with Hewitt Associates)
- Experience with outsourcing to shared service centers, internal ISO audits, SOX, SOPs, development of internal control systems and key processes including documentation
- Software experience with SAP (S/4HANA/FI/CO/BCS), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision), Oracle, D Edwards, Tagetik, Hyperion, Cognos, Experienced Excel user
- German (mother tongue), English (business fluent)
